CHRISTMAS!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the Christmas season.  There are just so many wonderful things that come with it.. the music, the cookies, the candles, the family, the movies.. I just can't get enough.  And this year was EXTRA special since it was Lou's very first. :)  That combined with it being our year to spend it in California with my family, made it a wonderful holiday (I'm going to completely ignore the fact that Lucas was just getting over a horrible virus and turned into a gremlin each night while at my mom's house - leaving us and him sleepless). 

Christmas at my mom's house is the BEST. She throws an amazing Christmas Eve party every year and ALL the family attends. I have been looking forward to this party since the last one! It's so great to see everyone.. we are truly blessed to have such an amazing family... with 6 sisters on my mom's side (each with kids) it is always packed! :)

Christmas morning was wonderful as always. We started with presents then had breakfast and then did a wholelot of lounging. Lou had a great time opening his presents from Grandma (which she wasn't supposed to get him!!) :)
