10 MONTHS

I can hardly believe our little muffin is 10 months old. We have watched him grow from this tiny little newborn baby, so delicate and innocent, into this adorable, hilarious little person. It has been so amazing to see his little personality come out. We are literally in awe at how amazing he is and how much love we have for him. There are no words.

Little Lou Bear at 10 Months is....

HILARIOUS. He is constantly making us laugh. Lately when I to go to kiss him, he opens his mouth, sticks out his tongue, and starts chuckling. CRACKS. ME. UP. :)

MY DELICATE LITTLE FLOWER. There isn't much that doesn't scare my little guy... and I would never use the word "tough" to describe him. Don't get me wrong, he's gotten MUCH better but still scares pretty easy. When he was younger we couldn't even take him to restaurants without him having a complete meltdown due to the noise.  And the baseball game we took him too was also a fail. Poor kid nearly jumped out of his skin when people cheered.  Now he does very well in restaurants and is slowly getting better with his loud baby friends. A couple months ago if baby Addie was sitting by him and started "talking" he would instantly start crying! My little flower can't even handle an elevator ride without a freak out. That's okay though.. mommy loves her sensitive boy. :)

SOOOOO SWEET. He is undeniably the sweetest little thing in the world. I don't know how to explain his sweetness - it's just who he is.

AGAINST SLEEPING. He avoids naps like the plague and still wakes several times at night. I swear the child just doesn't need sleep like the rest of us... he will go all day without a wink of sleep and still be happy as a clam when evening rolls around. It's not normal!

A MOMMA'S BOY.  There is no question here. That is not to say he doesn't love his Daddy because trust me, he LOOOOOVES his Dad.  But when mom is around, look out.. there is no one or thing that can stand in his way to get to his momma. I have zero complaints. :)

ALWAYS ON THE GO. He has become quite the little monkey.. he cruises furniture and toys like it's nobodies business, and is constantly moving from one item to the next. He even took a step from the couch to one of his toys this evening.  It will not be long until he is walking.  Then the real fun begins!!!

IMPOSSIBLE TO DIAPER CHANGE. Diaper changing is a constant battle. He becomes a bucking bronco and just can't sit still for one minute.  I don't see this getting any easier so I'm not sure how this will work as time goes on.  He may have no option but to be a nudist!

DADDY'S PLAY MATE.  The two of them are so funny together.  I don't know who makes who laugh more.  Their newest little game involves Doug putting him on his shoulders and galloping around the house.  Lucas thinks it's the BEST THING EVER. He just laughs the whole time and is usually pulling on Doug's hair with one hand and waving with the other.  Or he just beats on Daddy's head like a drumset.

OUR LOVE, OUR LIFE.

THE BIG GAME

I can't believe college football season is already coming to an end... :( It is a ritual to spend each Saturday of the season watching the games with our friends - rotating houses so that everyone takes turns hosting. The days are long and fun and typically start at 9am and sometimes go until 9pm. This year was the first year with all the babies and it was such a blast!  All of our houses are equipped with toys, pack n plays, changing tables, high chairs, cribs etc. so it makes it sooo easy when we all get together. :)  Every year we close out the season by watching the big rivalry game (Ohio State vs. Michigan) at the Stadium Club (local bar). This was the first year since our tradition started 5 years ago that the Buckeyes lost. :( Which means we need a new place to watch the game next year!!

LOU'S FIRST THANKSGIVING!

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year. And love that my little Lou Bear gets to experience all of this for the first time. :) If he's anything like his momma he will grow up to love it all!!

Thanksgiving was at Doug's Dad's place this year and it was wonderful as always, except this year was extra special since Doug's Mom was there to join us. :) It is such a blessing to have her with us and we are so excited she is here to stay.  Mindy, BJ, Devin, Uncle David, Aunt Priscilla, Cathy, and Eva were also there. The food was amazingly awesome and not to toot my own horn but the stuffing I made was fan-fricken-tastic. The cranberries came out good too. I was hoping Lucas would gobble it all up but he was only interested in the pumpkin pie! Go figure.. he does come from my gene pool...

LOGAN'S 4TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

Yesterday was Logan's 4th birthday party at Bounce U and I'm not sure who had more fun - the kids or the "adults"!!  The place is essentially filled with all different sorts of bounce houses and huge blow up slides and jungle gyms.. even a blow up mini basketball court. Such a great place for a kid birthday party.

 Lemme out... Pleeeaaase :)

These two love each other. :)  And now that Steph is back at work they get to play all day at daycare together! 6 weeks his senior, Keira shows him who's boss.
